Eastern Slope

The Eastern Slope neighborhood is home to some of Lake Tahoe’s most beautiful homes.

Welcome Eastern Slope

The Eastern Slope neighborhood is home to some of Lake Tahoe’s most beautiful homes. Positioned at an elevation of 6,400-7,300ft with views to the south, many homes here in the Eastern Slope have views. Because of this, the neighborhood is often deemed “The Banana Belt” by the locals. Still receiving plenty of snow, the area has typically melted off by early afternoon after an overnight accumulation.

When describing homes in the Eastern Slope neighborhood, they are primarily single-family custom homes on relatively large lots.

The majority of homes found here are over 5,000SF. Many home buyers in Incline Village may not need this large of a home, however due to the strict regulations put in place by the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, many builders recommend building as large of a home as possible in the Eastern Slope to maximize return on investment.

A bonus of living in the Eastern Slope neighborhood is that you are within close proximity to Diamond Peak for those early morning powder days and you are also within close proximity to Mt. Rose Highway.

*As a “pro-tip”, the Lakeview Chair at Diamond Peak often opens as early at 7:30-8am on powder days!
